Shiftings Problems into 1st, 3rd and 5th
Hello again, with another broken question.
I have recently had quiet sudden problems with my shifter. As the title says, shifting into 1st, 3rd, and 5th is a bit of a pain. It's doable, but painful.
On the actual shifter ****, going into any of those gears feels squishy and soft. As well, I can feel the max throw, as in when I put it into either of these gears, the shifter comes to a the end of it's throw, very suddenly. This part itself, feels solid, not squishy. I hope this makes sense. To clarify, putting the **** into gear feels squishy and soft. Pushing the shifter all the way in feels hard and sudden (that's what she said).
Anyways, I took a look under the hood to see if it was any bushings, and I found this delightful mess:

Is there any DIY I could do to remedy this situation for the time being? Likewise, is what parts do I need to fix this? Do I have to go to the Honda store, or are there any stores online that would have this part?
Thanks again!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

OUCH!
Needs a shifter cable fer shur! IDK what you can do to bandaid that.
If one already went to hell, maybe you should replace both?

That I can't help with.
I don't think I've run across a DIY here, and I don't recall having to replace one since I've been at my dealer.
Find a service manual

Hey, I'm back.
I've been looking for the shifting cable, as mentioned in the DIY, but I can't find any place that has this part that ships to Canada. I went to torontohondparts.com, but the site was down. Is this just temporary maintenance?
I've been looking for Canada Honda Parts under google, and any site that sells honda parts, doesn't have this specific part. Any time I search for the part number (54310-S5A-033), I only have American sites that only ship within the US. It's leaving my frustrated and annoyed. I just bought a Revo short shifter and new bushings, and I really don't want to install these goodies twice! Any help will do!
TL;DR: Any online part stores that ship into Canada? This specific part: shifting cable - 54310-S5A-033.

Looks like they changed stuff. Try this one http://www.torontohonda.com/parts/
Google for dealers closer to you?
Search that part number in Google Shopping?
