Recently put my car in a pond, water was 3/4 of the way up engine bay (only the front end of the car was submerged) but no water had entered my engine. it sat outside aftterwards at a garage for 3-4 days in relatively cold conditions/near freezing. After 3 days of heating/drying the car starts and but the idle is boggy and will only take little gas.
I'm not an expert mechanic so im not 100% on what's causing the car to be doing this. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be my problem?
Also, there's no water in my gas that i'm aware of.
Thanks for any help,

Also, just had it running. Idles perfectly, but when it gets to around 4-5000 rpm, it starts to suck and sputter and it bogs out.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Is the intake manifold full of water? (Don't assume no just because it runs!)
Is the intake resonator chamber full of water?
Is the engine oil full of water?
Is the transmission fluid ---uh, does it look like a pink milkshake?

I don't have a stock air box on the car. But there's no water in the intake. I shut the car off immediately when I hit the water. There's also no water in my oil/engine. Could it be a sensor that is wet? Or my fuel filter? I also only had 1/4 tank of fuel so could condensation or anything like that maybe be in my fuel which is causing it to starve for fuel? I'm not sure.. but whatever it is, it can't be major. I can drive it, but once I get over 3000 rpm it bogs down so it gradually gets going up to speed. What do you think?

Check engine light on?
Check engine light flashing?
Water in the spark plug tubes?
Insurance report? Totaled the car?

Check engine light was alyways on because of an 02 sensor. Plugs are good, so is fire. Car is still drivable, i can take it for a drive, I just cant give it a lot of gas. it bogs out it seems the more of put my foot down on the throttle.
