Rep Power: 0 Would this be a good car?
Hi everyone, I'm new to the car scene but have always been interested in it. I have always had trucks and i'm looking into getting a Honda for better gas mileage and just because I want to try a new scene. I have been looking at this Honda civic for a little while and was wondering if y'all could tell if this would be a good deal on the car? And also what are some common mechanical/electrical etc. problems that this certain year/model have? All info would be appreciated, Thanks!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Would this be a good car?
I vote HELL NO.
That car may need serious help. It has the appearance that it's been curbed and has serious suspension damage on the right front.
See the odd wheel--- and see how far it's been pushed rearward in the wheelwell:
Also, grille is damaged or missing, hood/headlight/fender/bumper gaps are pronounced and uneven as though it's suffered body damage and poor or nonexistent repairs...
Rear "H" emblem gone? Blacked? Looks odd.
Wheel is missing as noted above- along with suspension damage,
radio is missing,
center console is missing trim,
fart can,
black painted wheels (are the tires actually painted too? LOL)
column covers are split, not assembled right or won't go back together
I'm gonna guess this car was owned by a wannabe ricer kid, and he crashed the car. Then he stripped all his stereo stuff out.
Sellers phone # area code is metro Atlanta, Ga.
Signage says "Mobile Solutions"?
Those garage doors with the chains in front tells me it's at a shop of some sort.
Bodyshop? This car would be an example of some **** poor work if it is.
JMHO. YMMV.

Yeah we had a hurricane, but it only affected one of the bigger islands out here and it only affected one major city there. I can't remember what island he said he was on. I thought he said Maui, but I'm not sure. That didn't get hit by the hurricane though. Otherwise, no idea where he's been.
