If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

"Freeze frame" data is a snapshot of several parameters of engine operating data, stored in the computer at the time it set the code. Most better code readers and all scanners should be able to retrieve the data.

The cheapest code readers usually don't give you the data.

The data would include things like
engine RPM,
vehicle speed
throttle angle
MAP sensor or vacuum
coolant temp
short term fuel trim
long term fuel trim

There's a lot more data than that possible, depending on the scanner used to get the data.

Knowing what the conditions were when it set the code can help narrow down some possibilities.

If a misfire happens only at idle RPM, the cause is usually far different than if it only sets the misfire code only when driving down the road.

If it has a dead miss that you can feel at all times or is easy to duplicate, then the FF data is not necessarily necessary.
You say it resets the P0301 code, but you didn't say when it misfires. If you can't tell me, the freeze frame data can (might).

Not sure if this is a good sign or bad...
Replaced all the ignition coils & I don't see the misfire anymore...
Checked it with a 20 min drive...

But the CEL is still on... Will get the codes checked tomorrow...
Any idea with the current state ?

Will try to get the other things done too...

Erase the codes.
