Exclamation 2002 Honda Civic EX Coupe Immobilizer Issue

Hey Everyone, like the title says I am having an issue with my Immobilizer, It doesn't come on.

My friend was getting ready to back out of the driveway in my car when it shutdown and now it won't start, it will crank but won't start, and the Immobilizer light on the dash doesn't come on, I am thinking it's my key has went bad, but I'm not sure and I wanted to see if anyone could possibly help me out with trying to figure the problem out.

I have since had someone look at my car and I am now convinced that the ECU is not getting any power, because the car is not getting any spark to the plugs, and no power to the fuel pump.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

If there is no immobilizer green flashing key symbol light at all, I'd start with testing every last fuse.

A diagram shows fuses
#6 and 9 in the engine compartment fusebox
#17 in the dash fusebox

I'd check all of them though.

Having the same issue with my car. No immobilizer light. Car will crank and crank but wont start. Going to check these fuses when I get home. Did OP ever figure out what the problem was?

Could it be the chip in your key lost its code or was erased? Do you have another key you can try? That's what I'd try first.
