Stiff clutch pedal?

Hey,

I'm just wondering if this is normal. I've got an 02 Civic with 155k miles on the original clutch. The clutch is very stiff. My friend has an 05 Civic and the clutch goes down very easily.

Is this supposed to be like that? Is it because of the age of my clutch? His clutch goes down almost like a break pedal and mine you really have to put some strength into it to get it down. Normal?

Re: Stiff clutch pedal?

Not normal. Have you checked the clutch reservoir fluid level, have you lubed the clutch fork pivot?

I haven't checked anything. Where/how would I check the fluid level?
