i was wondering if anyone here knows how many cells psi our standard catalytic converters have? i am looking at purchasing a 100cpsi hiflow metal cat, and i'm worried about the car throwing a CEL. i was told that i should try get a hiflow cat as close to standard cat, but then again that would defeat the purpose of one. has anyone ran a hiflow cat, and if so how many cpsi was it? and did it or didn't it throw a CEL? i'm thinking 100cpsi, but i will go to 200 or 400cpsi if it means avoiding a CEL. thanks heaps!

If you run any type of de-cat hi flow cat and you get a CEL just move the seconday o2 sensor up,
Its simple all you need is a spark plug defouler the DIY is on here somewere just search it.
thanks guys, i just bought myself a 2.25" test pipe and an angled defouler. i hope it works for me! in australia, we get $10,000 fines for running no cats so im going to go for the safer option and run a hi flow cat with it, probably a 100cpsi race cat and have the defouler just in case - which it most likely will - throw a cel light! thanks for the info guys! cheers.
