Re: Problems with Power Windows

Did you ever check the lock window button located right above the four window buttons? I have a feeling it is pressed in.

There was a bulletin for the master switch assemblies failing.

Re: Problems with Power Windows

I just noticed the same thing on my car. The drivers side is fine but on my passenger side the window is down and I cant get it to come up. I pulled the door panel off and tried to see if anything was blocking it but it was all clear. So then as I was playing around with the button i can hear a sound coming from the motor when i push down to roll the window down but when i pull the switch to make the window come up I get nothin. Hopefully this doesnt mean motor replacement...

Re: Problems with Power Windows

my driver master switches just randomly stop working sometimes. my rear window wouldnt work at all, now it started working again. when i had the passenger front one die, i opened the switch and cleaned up the black stuff inside, and it worked again. but now its starting to break again. i think its a defect in the switch board.

Re: Problems with Power Windows

My right rear window does not move at all (at least its all the way up). That is the only window that does not work. Checked all the fuses and relays and they are all good, guess its time to pull off that master switch.

mine too! try to open the piece and clean all the contacts carefully with alcohol. also be careful, theres lots of small moving parts inside, make sure they go back in the right way.

Re: Problems with Power Windows

So my friend is having a problem with his 4dr as well. With the driver's side, he can put the passenger and driver's side window down, but he can't put the passenger's side up. The driver's side goes up fine. He can't control any of the rear windows either. What could it be? I guess he should try cleaning the contact points first? Anybody have any updates?
