Ok I have a 03 honda civic ex and recently I had the engine light come on and now the car acts like it has a rev limiter at 4000 RPM's. Can anyone help me on this in trying to figure out what the problem is.
Ok I fixed the problem..... now i just need to remember next time to check all fluids before posting.

can you tell me what it was exactly, My 2002 ex is doing this exact same thing, rev limiter at 4000rpm, it doesnt matter what gear your in including neutral. thanks
$20 says your check engine light is illumated.. get the code read (for free at a place like autozone..) and let us know what it is. We'll be able to help from there
