Fog light switch help

so i bought EBAY fogs...and i ran into a problem w/ the switch

ebay switch = shit...doesnt fit. so i bought an OEM switch from honda.

BUT the wiring harness is different (ebay harness CAN NOT plug into OEM switch)

so what i was thinking is that to pull out the wires from ebay harness socket and DIY them into the OEM switch.

BUT DO NOT KNOW WHICH WIRE SHOULD PLUG INTO WHICH PIN ON OEM SWITCH

wires color from ebay harness (from left to right)

1-red/black
2-red/yellow (wire leads to harness that plugs into relay box)
3-solid red
4-solid black

OEM SWITCH (did search and got the pin out)
1st row (2 pins up and down) - ground
2nd row (2nd pin from left) - out
3rd row (3rd pin from left) - blank
4th row (4rd pin from left) - in

please help if you have done this before??!?!?!?!?!?

Re: Fog light switch help

^^^^ i was thinkin the same thing

black = ground
red = 12v live in
red/black = 12v line out
red/yellow = illumination (this wire leads to the relay)

wiring up w/ the pins

black = 2 pins ground
red...red/yellow = 2 pins 12v in
red/black = 1 pin 12v out

Re: Fog light switch help

You pm'd me.

The two copper are for illumination only the three silver are the ones that you need for the fogs.

The ground goes to the ground terminal
The +12 goes to the +12 volt in on the switch
the +12 out from the switch goes to the relay on the fogs.
If you pull the +12 from the factory fuse box, use the pin that is hot when and only when you turn on the lights. You can feed it to the +12 in and the illumination on the switch. This way all you need is three wires on the switch.

1 the +12 from the lights switch
2 ground
3 +12 out to relay for fogs.

I am going to bed now.
I will answer all the questions tomorrow.
I am sure there will be plenty.
LOL
