whats the +'s and -'s of the new 1.7 liter?

+better low-end torque
+direct ignition
+less maintenance
+better gas mileage
-SOHC, no DOHC offered in USA
(-)uses harder to find 5w20 (for now)
-stock airbox setup

Everything Einstein said, and if you're getting the LX or DX, then it has more horsepower too, than previous gens. Overall, a better engine than the previous 1.6 SOHC.

Wow, no wonder you're called Einstein! Got everything right. I can't think of anything else... except that if you're bound and determined to make performance out of an engine that's too persistent to stray away from it's ULEV roots: The new D block is your challenge.

Oh, the engine bay can also hold an RSX Type S i-VTEC engine... we're just waiting for it to be done in America. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]
