my front passenger window now has a new motor, but guess what? it still doesnt work. as i was installing the new motor , when connecting the passenger switch, the window went up without depressing the switch... so i quickly disconnected it. i removed the rear window switch and tried the front switch in the rear, it worked, it went up and down and stopped midway, all that sh1t. so i know the problem is not the passenger switch.
the problem might be my driver switch, but before i buy a new driver control unit, is there anything else i should check for, like a faulty relay?
please respond.
ok, so i got tired of sitting here helplessly crying for help. here is what i did.
i took the driver side control out, figuring if the window only goes up, then maybe the driver side control is stuck in the up position. i get the control out and i proceed to take it apart. see the attached pictures, ( i will attach pictures later.).
so i look at the switch for the right passenger door, and notice some charring on its side, and on the side of the front driver side door electronic switch. wow. so, now i am going to search for that electronic part and solder it into place. hehe, i will let you know how it ends up. it could be a while before i find that control. Does anyone know how much one of these items costs new from Honda?
:cheer:
