Beware: transmission slippage is common for 7th gens

My tranny started slipping today and was like wtf, cuz I do my flushes regularly, NEVER neutral dropped it, etc. For those of you w/ this same problem, it's a common problem. For those of you yet to experience it, be prepared. Apparently, the shift cables corodes, causing the slippage.

THis will tell you the major problems associated with the 7th gens.

btw, does anyone kno how much a shift cable costs anyway?

they were referring to the manaul trannies. they even said it is usually causes it to pop out of second or fifth gear. That isnt what causes an auto tranny to start slipping. slipping in a auto tranny refers to the clutches slipping. And yes we all know that the 7thgen trannies have problems. We have alot of members who have experienced tranny problems and have several threads about it. SO I am closing this one because I feel we dont need to discuss something already discussed several times.
