2001 Ex / Flasher???

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am trying to locate where the Flasher would be on a 2001 Civic Ex Coupe. I have been having problems with my turn signals so I want to replace the Flasher to rule that out as a problem. The problem I am having is that everytime I turn one of the signals on, weather it be right or left, the signals click once and then turn off. I don't know if anybody might have a suggestion on what the problem maybe. Thanks in advance for the help.

Also, if there is anyone that has service manual for a 2001 that would help a lot because then it would tell me exactly where the flasher is.

I have already looked every where. under the dash, the hood, fuse boxes, I have no idea where else to look.

sounds like a bad relay...check the fuse box under the dash first, then the underhood one..should be labeled flasher or turn signal...something to that effect

Thanks for the help guys but I looked at and around the fuse box's and I can't find the flasher. I was told that the flasher and the relay are 2 different things. I am not sure if this is right but I went and bought a flasher but still have no idea where to put it. I want to rule that out as a problem and go from there so if anybody has a service manual for a 2001 please help me out. Thanks again!

It is there, just take the new one and match up the appearance. It is located at the top away from the fuses.

Re: 2001 Ex / Flasher???

are you sure you replaced the right relay in the under dash fuse box? the hazards work because they are on a separate circuit. sounds like your main flasher relay went bad. what part did you get to replace it, the EP34?
