Need Help P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Can anyone please help me. My scanner is giving me this code ( P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) and I have no idea what it is. I replaced the O2 sesor's and Reset the Ecu and it still gives me this code. Does anyone know what this means? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you replace the secondary o2 sensor at the cat? Or did you replace the one near the exhaust manifold?

Because bank 1 sensor 2 is your downstream o2 sensor.

If you did and the light came back on you either have a wiring problem or ECU problem.

well if you want, if you have a DMM (digital multimeter) I can guide you through the procedues to diagnose this code. otherwise take it to a shop to have them fix. its up to you.

But first thing you can do is check the number 4 ACG 10A fuse in the under dash relay/fuse box and see if it is blown.

If I take it to the honda dealership do you think a cold air intake (INJEN) and DC sports cat back will void my warranty. Its a 2003 civic with 100k mile warranty.

it all depends on the dealership who works on it. I had my throttle body replaced under warranty and I had a injen CAI on the car. It was even the reason why the TPS sensor failed, because I sucked water into the engine. But then again, they may not warranty the car. never know. Just have to take it in a find out.

go to a private shop, but if they cant find the problem they will send you to dealer if they dont send you to the dealer before they check the car

now when you say cleared ecu did you disconnect the batter for 30 min or you used a ecu/pcm obd2 scanner (or honda pgm tester) to clear your codes? any pending codes if that's the case?

very important - do you have a dx/lx or ex? what engine code D17A1, D17A2, D17A6?
and WHAT YEAR?

Re: Need Help P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

I have a 2000 civic dx with a d16y7 engine and I also have the same p0141 code. I changed my o2 sensor with a new one but the check engine light still comes on when I clear the code with a obd2 scanner.

I am not sure what the number 4 ACG 10A fuse in the under dash relay/fuse box is.
