i get the same problem! it has happened in snow and rain here in vancouver.. a grinding noise coming from the front right area of the car..

when the sound begins, i can accelerate and teh grinding noise gets louder, if i decelerate, the sound slows... i figure it has to do with the front right axle in some way.. anyone else with this problem or have a fix for it?

Not to be that guy- but if you search there was a thread about this from a while back that had about 300 responses to it, but I don't think anyone ever came to the conclusion of what it is. I know it happens with most 7th gen civics for some reason. Peolpe have taken then to the dealership and everything. Good luck!

i appreciate you helping dark but i already did a search and did it again after you mentioned it. i looked at all the posts and none of them are related to my problem. most of them are vibration during braking, in the rear deck, or vibration around 3000rpm. all these conditions are unrelated to my problem.

you said there were over 300 responses, so maybe that thread was deleted

Yeah there have been a thread on this one way back. I also was looking for it just now til I bumped into this one. Can't find it anymore.

Anyways, I recently had the problem again which I thought was long gone. Has anybody solved this grinding sound problem yet?
