Kinda a waste all because of a $40 pair of lights on the side but replace the side fenders i guess...... other than that, i don't think there's any other feasible way unless you buy a new car, which can solve all your aftermarket problems.

Nothing a little duct tape and a hammer can't fix.

i was always thinking of getting the sidemarkers ever since i saw the first post. i think they look ok but getting the "cleanest" size would be imperative. the pastching process isnt that complicated if you wanted to do that. i gotta run but ill reply again to give more details. late

Sidemarker are cool when they come with your car when you bought them. Factory install. But I dont like it when I gonna install it myself. Some civic in other country come with a side marker but not in the U.S it sucks though

I just like the part where you have to cut a hole in your car.

The 2001 Civic has nice clean sides. Why do you want to cut holes and put those archaic, retro side markers on? If you're gonna do that, why not put 4 or 5 in a row down the side like some big trucks have. Then put 5 amber clearance lights above the windhield too. Side markers have go to be the next worse thing to big ole rubber mud flaps with lights in the middle IMHO

I agree... one of the things that makes our cars look so good (and different from other cars), is that the sides are completely empty. We don't even have side moldings! I don't know if there is another car out there which has such clean lines as ours. Why mess that up with side markers?

yeah having no moldings on the side looks nice, i am just always sure to park far away from everyone because it is easier to get door dings.
