Windshield Cracking in Cold Weather

Not like shattering, but it makes a cracking noise after it has been in the cold for a while and then I start driving it. It seems to be coming from the edges and it is almost a clicking sound. Usually after the car warms up it goes away.

I know it's just the windshield fluxuating from the temperature. Should I take it to the dealer or is this normal for our cars?

Do a search for Recalls. This sounds like one of those windshield recall problems. If you get cracks from the corners, it's a warantee replacement.

Usually means the windshield is under stress. I had my jeep windshield replaced twice and now when the car is in the sun it cracks and makes a really loud crack sound once every few mins. I hope it doesnt really crack but it might... it has to do with the way things are situated and if the glass is under stress

My 2001 CIVIC DX SEDAN's windshield is cracking on the lower left without any reason. I hear there's a TECH SEVICE BULLETIN (01-091 / Oct-01)? refering to this problem and a fix under warranty. Can someone update and copy the TSB please?
