clutch problem

last night on my way to the store, my clutch bit the dust... i think. well, not the clutch but maybe the slave cylinder or something. my clutch pedal has no pressure. it just falls to the floor board. it was dark out so i really couldn't get a good look but i do know that there is no fluid leaking. my car made no kind of funny noises or anything. one minute its all good, the next minute its gone. my first thought was that the clutch cable had broke. well, i talked to a tech at the honda dealership and he said we have a hydraulic clutch. tomorrow they are closed but wednesday i'm having it towed to the dealership so they can have a look. anyone have ANY ideas as what could be the problem? has anyone experienced this problem? Your slave cylinder maybe shot. Is the fluid level in the reservoir normal? if it's low, you may have sprung a leak. If it's normal level, the rubber piston seal inside the slave cylinder may be bad and allowing the fluid to pass.

my damn n2o hose rubbed a hole in the clutch hose located near the firewall. its not leaking alot but the hole is big enough so the pressure keeps dropping. its gonna cost me $37 for the hose and about $20 for overnight shipping. then the dealership wants about $150 to install. i'm gonna end up doing it myself though. shouldn't be too hard.

Make sure you bleed the hose and slave cylinder. You'll need an extra person to pump the clutch.
