Exclamation Intake Problems

I just got an aftermarket Intake. The only problem is I dont have the $$ to go to car toys or circuit city and have them install it. So i was wondering if there's anybody that could help give me instructions on doin it myself??? I have the first air box off but im not sure if the 2nd air box (the one with the filter in it) has to come off too? And next what's the rubber hose for that comes with the intake? It's so very easy. The resonator and airbox both come off. There are screws holding everything down, and a clamp that holds the airbox on the throttle body. Then there's the iat (intake air temp) sensor that needs to be removed and put in the new intake. Also, there is a hose that goes from the engine to intake (breather hose). There should also be a rubber cylinder that you slip on the throttle body and then push in the intake. Everything should have clamps to secure it.

but i dont know if the intake pipe will fit it in kind of a [ shape? And then there's the rubber cap that goes around one of the ends of the pipe, does that go where the old air box lead into the throttle body?

what kind of intake did you put on? You sure that HP you are getting is coming from your head. Because I dont know anyone who has put a intake on, and can now say there car halls ass. Especially with our car.
