Rep Power: 0 can't reset Maintenance Required Light
Couldn't rest the "Maintenance Required" light even after following the instructions given on page 64 of Owners manual. This a pretty new car (2002 Coupe LX) with 15000 miles and doing regular oil changes for every 3000 miles.
But one thing is that I have installed Injen Cooled air Intake and it use to blink for 10 times earlier and now suddenly the Maintenance light is always lit.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, I know... but the reason I didn't lock it right away was because I wanted to find out if he was doing it correctly. Seems like he's doing it right ... so it might be an actual bug in his car.

Rep Power: 0 Steps I followed are like these.
1. First thing I do is press the reset button and hold it
2. Then put the ignition key and turn it to position II and keep holding the reset button.
3. wait for more then 30 seconds.
Nothing happens

Rep Power: 424 *make sure that your odometer is in the odometer position (not in trip A or B)*
insert key with right hand
press reset button (and hold)
turn key to #2 position
(keep holding the reset button)
takes 7-10 seconds for 'most' of the dash lights to turn off
when they do...turn the key back to the #0 position
release the reset button and start the motor...
gone now??

Rep Power: 0 It was in odometer position. But, I again changed the cdometer position from odometer position to Trip A to Trip B and back to Odometer position and then repeated the process. This time it worked...
Thanks Falken for ur suggestion.
