Forum Rules: Please read this before posting! :)

#1: READ YOUR MANUAL : For those of you who still haven't read your manual (from start to finish), this is highly recommended. That should have been the first thing you did after driving home from the dealer with your brand new Civic... you may be surprised at what you didn't know about your car, and at how many answers you will find to your questions.

#2: SEARCH ! This site has an awesome search tool... use it. And if you find the right thread, feel free to bump it up to the top with your question if you still have any.

And finally ......

#3: Absolutely... positively... no more questions about the "Maintenance Required Light". Any member found starting a another thread with this subject will be banned for life ...... (j/k ) (... and BTW, the instructions for turning it off are in YOUR MANUAL!)

For general maintenance questions about when to service this and when to replace that, simply follow the Severe Schedule in your manual and you should be fine.

If your question is still not answered in your manual and after doing a search, feel free to post a new thread and the members and mods here will be more than happy to help.

Any new threads regarding general maintenance, and any questions for which the answers can be clearly found in our manuals ... will likely get locked/deleted quickly, along with issues which have already been covered often.

Also, check this sticky thread for common issues and TSB's for our cars before posting... the answer to your question may be waiting for you there already:
