Rep Power: 117 Pine sap removal
Pin sap seems to be the worse tree sap for car paint. Cleaning vinegar works pretty well and is cheap. Not even good wax would remove the pine sap after I made the mistake of parking under a pine tree for 1 night. This also works better than regular window cleaner for cleaning the inside of the windshields.

Try a wet dryer sheet (like Bounce). Having had a motorhome you will be surprised what these things will remove.
Also a dab of Dawn dish soap, let set for a minute, rub wet cloth to remove. May take couple of tries and some rubbing but
usually works pretty good.

I have the SAME problem...sap from under the pine tree. I used Goo Gone for the spots on my windows, worked great. I don't know if it would work all that well on car paint though. It may take the clear coat off.
