nono.. most of you guys and girls are pretty cool and knowledgable enough.. it's just some that the members pool just became diluted with morons. i don't have much patience for that.

i concur...when a group becomes overly saturated with stupidity..it just becomes boring....

it's funny i made a lot of my diy's as a joke...funny thing a lot of them are actually "helpful" to many people. ah well...i guess they've turned from poking fun at people to actually becoming good deeds.

whatever helps..i just find it funny that the same people who claim to know so much..also email me about the oil change DIY hahaha.

whatever. enough of my ranting and raving.

wow and to think that all this time i thought ppl on these sites were happy to lend a helping hand, u mean actually u guys just laugh and poke fun of ppl that aren't as knowledgable as yourselves, i wonder what happened to the sense of self satisfaction one gets from lending some advice to ppl who share a certain interest, i guess i'll put myself in the moron category and apologize for making this forum soo boring

I agree with Gen7_Si........I'm not on this forum much anymore but not because I don't think the people are nice, but just because I lost interest. I don't think anyone needs to poke fun at anyone just because they have diferent interests.
I remember way back when....when there were some people on here everyday, myself included.

That's my 2 cents. Like it or don't like it!!!!!

hehehe... my oh my.. look what we've started..

shauna.. you for one KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE that we are more than willing to help people out and have always been friendly people. if you want to take things personally.. by all means.. go right ahead..

gen7.. you obviously have no clue on what we used to do for this forum. from your 'joined' date of may 2003.. you're comments shouldn't even count.

i personally am not talking about the regular joe schmoe who needs a hand figuring out how to replace his OEM deck or whatever.. it's the people that are obviously lacking knowledge upstairs on not just automobiles, but on life in general.

i could sit here all day and discuss how for a long time, this section of the forum.. canada west was doing quite well. i can also tell you about how ghosty and i were the ones setting up meets, including the largest 7th gen civic at the time in north america.

anyhoo.. all those guys and girls from way back.. feel free to msg me any time for info and such.

gen7 - if you read my post more carefully..i intended some of my diy's to poke fun at those who claim to have so much knowledge...

i've always definitely tried to help those who've needed it or requested it...but it was always to see at the end of the day the people who are on the forums who are posing as big shots or what not email me for questions on something like an oil change.

the same people pretending to know how to make a custom turbo setup for our cars, the same people flaming others for the inability to do simpler things to their car etc....

THOSE were the people i'm talking about. the DIY's i made are definitely there to help us all out...but they were also made put these other people in their place.

i'm not saying i was right in doing so..or wrong in doing so...but let's just say back in the day the forum was filled with a much friendlier member base...

sorry if we offended you...but then again this post was never meant to offend anyone...

one thing i've learned is, everyone reads things differently.

O.K., maybe I did read too much into it. I just thought you were making fun of all the people who are still active on this forum. Yes, I do know you guys were always there to help out. Toasty put my iniglo brake pedals on and they still work to this day.

nice to see some old names come up once in a while. I usually post on the CANEAST forum but I swing by here time to time.
What's up Shauna? Not even sure if you remember me... Bluelle (Ruel) said what up too...
I was gone for a while myself, mainly when my car was out of comission... but now that it's back on the road, I've been back quite often.
