What kind of tints do you have? And...

..do you get harrassed at all by the cops or anything like that?
Also, did any of you get your front windows done? Will tintshops like Ziebart or Protint do it for you, even if its like 50% tints?

I'm planning on getting tints on my silver Civic--what would you recommend for the front and back?

i do not have tint on my car ... yet?...

but my friend has tint all around 50% for front 2 and 3% everywher else... i know its illegal to tint the front.. but no trouble with cops whatsoever ... had the car for 2 years now... maybe cause its stock golf

I have 5% limo on my rear 3 windows + 2 quarter windows... none on driver/psngr side... the cops _can't_ harass me [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I asked about getting the front tinted but my tinter wouldn't do it because if you get in an accident with tint on the front windows you will be found at fault even if it isn't your fault... and your insurance coverage could be voided alltogether. Sort of like if you get in an accident while cellphone driving...

i've gotten one ticket in edmonton for my 50% on my front windows. The cop was really anal though. no other cops have harassed me about it, and i've been pulled over lots.

6% all around including the tint strip with Solar Gard HP Charcoal, cops I don't try it with them if I see them I roll my front windows down. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] But its great during the day, night I don't really notice it anymore.
