Just got off the phone with Alberta vehicle standards regarding car lighting.
Once and for all I've go a definative answer on neon lights and all other lighting modifications. The alberta law states that anything you have on your car that causes other drivers a distraction is called stunting and warrants a ticket. The law doesn't say anything specifically about undercar neons or hyperblinkers or washer led's. Basically it's up to the officer's discression whether you get a ticket or not. The good thing is that there is no specific mention of neons in the law so if you do get a ticket you will definetely have grounds to fight it. It would be all up to the judge to say whether or not your car is a distraction. Just some info for you guys, hope it helps.

I think they look sweet, but only for car shows, not for driving with everynight, that's looks a little, well geekish.
Just my opinion

Kickass SneakerPimp....did you ask about blue reverse lights?
we're just looking out for ya...its like you know you're gonna get a ticket for driving with it...so why take the chance? i dunno...guess people like the thrill or like the fact the a lot of people are gonna check out that ride....but whatever your decision is cool with me
The whole point to posting this message was to say that you probably won't get a ticket because there is no specific law and in the off chance that you do, you do have a chance to fight it. Also I did ask about other lighting and the guy told me that the only specific laws for lighting in Alberta is that your turn signals have to be amber or red and your reverse lights have to be white. And by the way, all of these laws are only for alberta, you guys in B.C. have a completely different set of laws.
hahahahah rice girl then u really must love me then lol
im going to buy a set of red neons prolly next week. hahaha
cuz i cant find any yellow ones.
never the less im going for the show stopper look.
