Anyone have the INPUT SHAFT BEARING worked on? (2001 manual trans)

I have problem #2 from the Manual Transmission Noise Threadhappening on my 01 and am looking for anyone who has had this repair to the transmission done with success.

The problem is a faulty INPUT SHAFT BEARING that needs replacing.

what garage did u go to (in Toronto)?

and what were the approximate costs?

I'm try to gauge whether this would be a cost effective repair vs. replacing with a rebuilt tranny.
