but the PO-PO's seem to always ruin it..(note this is not the first or second time we have been bothered by PO's.) heres where it gets serious
I spoke to my friend at work (a Lawyer) and he said.. it was trespassing the po's could have busted us for Saturday night with tickets....
his advice is ...
Meet at a City Park before 11:00PM....
OR
(This was mine and his idea).....For those who are serious about this T.O. 7thgen club... lets really form a club and have moderators.. and reps.. .. and make it really organized ........
what Im trying to say is...
I will take the initiative to talk to a stablishments like (Jack Astors... Kelseys... any bars or a McDonalds) anything with a LOT where we can hold our meets... and grab some food and DRINKS after
not always the same place(so we dont get bored.. or SAME place if more want it like that) ...so we really have to be organized as a CLUB and set these meets and go to the stablishment ahead of time to reserve parking and tables.. if needed
SO who's up for Starting a T.O. 7thgen civic club??
PLS I really need your opinion
and keep it serious

IMO, either way is fine, really. As long as it protects us from splitting up and ending our meet abruptly. The latter option (your idea, vicLX) actually might be better, in that case we get to refresh and be able to stay out longer. Also, a highly organized club gives us an identity within Canada and even the U.S. I can see ourselves organizing a Canada club and one for U.S. also, meeting in any city within those countries. It would kinda be like a darknights occasion, but for just 7th gen. Civics.
If we go that route, than maybe our club will be able to last alot longer.
BTW - We were all really lucky to not have been caught and issued tickets. Thank God for that, it could have been mod money!!!
yeah thats coo with me, but like I said to Vic earlier, we should vary the meetin place. I know a bunch of ya are prolly sick of the Commerce Gate area(Sorry for the last location guys). We sould make some in mississaga, richmond hill, scarboro and wherever in the sticks some of yaz are.
BTW, sometime in July, we'll all make a trek TOGETHER to the cayuga track...... just to say that CAN EAST held one at a RACE TRACK. I hope we get numbers like we did last saturday, folks.
DRIFTR... cayuga would be sooo hype!!!.. i can just imagine 20 or sooo civics on the highway.. cruisin down to cayuga... hahaha.. can't wait.. im in fo sho.. well.. hopefully cuz the only thing stopping me is work... As for VicLx's idea.. forming a club is a very good idea but.. ($$$) would also be involved.. but .. if we get lots of guys and girls to be serious about the 7th gen civic club.. then im in fo sho as well... i agree with brodie.. THANK god we didnt get booked... ohh well.. till next time dudes..
(VICLX about the air breather.. which one did u get the K and N one?? or some no name brand thingy???.. cuz i went to CDN tire and they didnt have em.. which one did u go to????)
Vic as per our phone conv... you know I'm in
Andoy's right, mall security will be easier to talk to. (toy cops)
I can most likely get Square One as one of them since I used to work security over there. (Yes, I was a toy cop with mini-flashlights as a protection :laugh They have a nice underground parking lot for the winter.
I'm definitely down with forming a club. I actually belong to one with my boyz called CRUracing (CRU-->crew) not really a racing team but it gives it a nice touch It's just a bunch of friends who has cars... not necessarily sooped up cars but just "cars"
BEEGUP CRU
I think the criteria to gain membership in CRU should be expressing more love for your "car" then anything.
to become a CRU member you must show:
That you love your "car" more then air;
That you love your "car" more then water;
That you love your "car" more then life itself
how r we suppose to show that?? i dunno if i'll be a memeber, i love my car and all, but not more than life, i would only do that if i had like a Diablo!!
