Im the coolest chik ever
well not really but i tried....today was my 1st time well 2nd time driving a standard car..i drove around all nite in a parking lot first in a jeep yj, and than i got to go on the road....highway and everything.....i stalled 2wice , once on a hill so it doesnt count.....I wish my car was standard now To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

he he! standard is so much fun!
once you go standard you can't go back! sometimes i drive some of my friends car (wich are auto) and i have so much trouble, cause i'm always looking for the clutch... it's akward! anyways, standard feels better, cause you feel as though you have more control on your driving! i know i'm never going back to auto!

Driving stick has it's advantages ~ better power control, increases mileage (sometimes), and better control of car on slippery roads...

However, on those late nights when you're dead and you're stuck in traffic... blah [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

Also, you can't be holding hands with your significant other while driving, only on highways and between stop lights

Hmm... never thought about the holding hands angle. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] Only time I regret a stick is about 20 minutes into a stop-and-go traffic jam.

One good thing about owning a stick... not too many people are going to borrow your car!
