Price inguiry on a 1994 Civic hatch with 230KMS

Hi guys, I have a co-woker selling a 94 Civic hatch (not sure what model but it doesn't even have a tachometer so I assume it's the lowest model civic for that year) 5speed with 230 000 clicks, body is in decent shape, barely any noticeble rust, did the timing belt at 140 000kms, engine runs smooth, he says it might need a new rad. He wants $2800 for it. I think it's over priced but not really sure what they go for. I was checking autotrader and prices are all over the place. I wanted to get a winter beater that doesn't look like crap and his car is very decent. What does a car of similar details go for in the GTA??

With that many km's it's a little expensive... check the Autotrader.ca and compare.

if the body is in decent shape, try offering $2000 and then swap in a new motor. You can always get one of those Autometer monster tacs
