I'm starting this thread to hopefully some conversations going between the Montrealers going. I know its a big city and not many might be on this site, but there are plenty (in my opinion) on this site already ... we just don't seem to talk.
SO .. how's it going guys and gals? I know there are other sites around where we could communicate - clubcivicquebec.com, montrealracing.com .. its just we are here as well, why not use it?
For me .. I drive a 01 LX-G 4dr. Well I shouldn't say drive, but more like use and abuse. I seriously need a new and better job Anyways, the changes I've done to it are minimal.
- OEM Spoiler
- Color matched hood and trunk trims
- Black TYC projector headlights
- Smoked (more like blacked out) TYC altezza (rear) lights
- Progress rear lower tie bar
- Neuspeed front upper strut/tie bar
Thats it for now .. and most likely for the duration of its existence with me ( well maybe I'll throw some wheels on it in the spring if I keep it long-term ...)
Here's a front pic .. don't have any from the back showing the additions so so sorry

yea its back to stock well i only took off my cf hood and my rims
was it -40 with the wind
my starter didnt even want to start the car
Only other thing I would have thought to come off would be the lip .. but they are a pain - and doubt you'll plow that much anyways..
Supposedly around there.. I'm glad my starter worked, though it didn't exactly warm the car any (at least the engine wasn't bone cold) - needed to drive around to get any little heat out of the vents still.
BTW: I am looking to replace my stock front swaybar (15,4mm) by the 25.4mm one, any of you know where I can find one at a cheap price? I can trade with a front RSX-S bar (23mm; fit DX/LX model).

You looking for an aftermarket bar or just the bigger sway bar from the other year(s)/trim level(s) of civics ? If its an aftermarket bar .. I'd lean towards RMR personally though others might say other shops like UltraCar (if not trying to see if people on this board (or perhaps people on others likeCCQ or MR have them) . If you are looking for the stock civic bar that is bigger.. don't really know anyone selling it - perhaps a scrapyard has one (as I'm sure there are plenty of civics out there.. just need one that isn't involved in a hard front hit mainly...
Does anyone in MTL have a k20a in their 7th gen? I didn't think so .. I know a couple on MR.com have been discussing it, just not finalized.. Then again, I don't know everyones car (heck barely know my own )

The RSX front bar wont fit your car.
If you put a thicker front bar your car will understeer in even more. I've got a 22mm rear bar and 25.4 front.
What do you think about 19mm rsx rear bar, and keeping your stock front bar. This will be a lot more fun. It will be tougher to drive, since youll be able to actually oversteer your car.
When you tune suspension anti-roll bars are used to fine tune the suspension. You want to the car to understeer more or less or oversteer more or less. Usually racers look for near neutral handling.
Anyhow the best mod for handling is shocks improvement is shocks.

Who knows, hopefully one day we can all have k20 vics
That would be great, anyhow back to reality. Can't wait till the winter is over so I can tune my suspension.
