Hopefully with an alignment as well In any event I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride instead of on blown shocks and springs Understand why it had to be done in that case. As for the rusting, I dunno - I guess I'm just overly worried about it ... but if its lifetime, so be it

I guyz, count me in the 7th gen. owners around Mtl., I live in Joliette. I own a black 01 SI (EX for U.S. folks), Veloz body kit, koni yellows w/ neuspeed sports on 17" HT3's. AEM c.a.i., Solo short shifter and a couple other things. It's in the shop this winter, now installing a race seat, ACT stage 1 clutch kit w/ lightweight flywheel, custom header and complete exhaust and port & polish. My only goal is to have a quick n.a. D17. Since there are practicaly no K's in the area yet and only 1 turbo that I know of, I should be able to have plenty of fun, even with the nitrous equiped 7th gens.
Hello and as for the above - Yet (for k20s+) is the key word there.. doubt its any of us here, but I know there are a couple looking/thinking about it. Nice improvements going into your car for sure though.

I'm an active member of Club Civic Québec and I hope you guyz will subscribe to our forum and become members, it's weeeel worth the 20$/year! Just our first outing to the racetrack in Tremblant last May was all worth the membership! We "paraded" (at 110-120 km/h...) behind the pace car for over 3 laps and got photoshooting time on the grid during the 6 hrs. of Tremblant (Rolex series, sedan gt...). We spent the entire day in the pits after the cops escorted us in the morning from Ste-Agathe to Tremblant (over 60 nice and clean civics in line).
As I've stated before, I browse the forums just doing the above doesn't truly float my boat. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast with the Gen7 BBQ I went to in Oshawa (had ~20 7thgens) driving along invading the 401 and I know the get togethers are fun ... its just I know I'm an auto and I know I'm slow, so why bother thinking I'm not Also, such a bad plug for the site, not even the website link just messing though (as I know it )
Sorry everybody i think i'm slepping i never see the topic but now count me in the 7th gen, owners from Montreal
I'm from east of Montreal (Pointe-Aux-Trembles area) I drive a coupe rally red 2001 Dx with a lot of modification ...
For some reason, I wasn't surprised to see you posting just after Superfly .. I just can't imagine why though Its all good and welcome to the thread
Now a question for you.. what sidemarkers are those? Also, you state you are getting new wheels (or at least want to), what are you looking to change into?

The sidemarkers are eurolite 5 led(Red) with 3 mode of flashing ... and for the wheels i dont have any idea about the brand but it's sure i want to by a light wheel like rota
The actual cost will be about 455$, not much for a complete day of lessons from Jim Russel instructors and lapping the nicest most technical track in Canada. You would need a Snell 2000+ helmet I think, but I still need to confirm.
I actually don't know how much helmets go for, I have many friends that race that can lend me one when I'll go lapping. Here's a couple pics, one last May @ Tremblant, the other in drag racing trim and one @ SCP5 with a little extra...
Bone stock at Sanair with ithout weight reduction 16.2 @ 84 mph. A run like this would have given me a +/- 15.9 at any other track. Sanair's track has a slight "uphill". I'm aiming for low 15's this spring, my mechanic tells me a high 14 is probable with some weight reduction, but low 15's will amuse me. Beating a SIR will be priceless.
