i think we should focus on caneast first. if people gets serious about the team or crew or whatever we call ourselves then maybe we can expand. it's how organize this is going to be that im worried about. and for the name i honestly like the ce7in nitehawk designed earlier but since it's for all imports we cant have that team name

. im cool with ecic too, im all up for it but i just want to have a clean looking design for the team name. im not a big fan of huge banners at all so none of those please!!!!

Wow I left for one weekend that was alot of reading. Yeah I'm agreeing with NO DOMESTICS I had enough troubles with them this weekend going through GTA. I passed on going 130 km regular speed I go and he passes giving me the finger and cuts back in front of me.

I don’t really care what name we pick as long as majority agrees with it.

When are we picking representatives? The sooner the better since this can be all organized easier. I'm not going to vote on that one since I don't really know anybody.

2- Find out the Guidlines of the team... like what are we all about?, Sponsors?, What evets will we be attending ...(track, Shows and events)
3- Find the connections fro those events...
4- Establish team togetherness
5- ENJOY!!!!! and represent

cool, here are my 2 cents

2. Time to start emailing some companies for sponsership, one idea pharoh once said was Silentrage, they r canadian. Events, we have to make some apprerance in import nights in ottawa, and darknights in makhem. Races, we have at least on member here who will be competing in the MCo solo II events of this year. and we can have some race days at shanonville this summer.

4-yes, i think we should start y making a list of the members names and vehicles, after which we can start a sub forum on this site for the team.

Also another idea i have, we should declare derek and 7thgencivic.com as being one of our sponsors he is aloowing us to use his webspace as a forum for the team, except if you want to make a new forum our selfes.

i actually like absolute east....

as for the team...i think its a safe bet to have vic, big and pharoh as reps...if they dont work out later on or whatever we will re-evaluate. but it honestly makes the most sense, if there objections lets hear them. but you 3 are the principles in start this, so i personally dont think it needs more discussion

lets finalize this then have people sign up via email, pm whatever to their regional rep

we need to elect a niagara region rep still. i havent heard any names yet....

i think we can move on to discussion about guidelines...future planning - like races, shows, etc should be discussed at a meet, we will deal with the brainstorming here though.

once we have a more formalized set of guidelines we can establish the team members better

I would nominate profurious as our Niagara region rep, no question.

I think it's clear that he has the ability to rep our region giving his involvement with last year's Niagara meet.

And if you want to have sepatate discussions about name, meets, rules and guildlines might I suggest separate threads for each topic to ensure that they all dont get mashed together

Eg.
Canada East team - Name and logo
Canada East team - Rules and Regs
Canada East team - Regional reps
Canada Eest team - discussion

ETC.

Just my 2 cents but....

i read through the entire thread and think that too many people are too all over the place. If you're gunna start up a club its a complicated process. My suggestion is that the first thing you should do is get a solid members list. No point electing administration if you dont know who their administrating and who should be allowed to have a say.
Then once you got that down concentrate on only one task at a time. Their's been alot of nominations for people, so their should be a vote between those that have committed to the club. Once those people are in place they themselves can start making plans as to names, events, and club information...and anything they want to have brought up with the members can take place in a thread just for that topic...a vote between just those members. Anything else not up for voting(cause democracy is sloooow) can just be posted up as a FYI.

Here's an idea for you......some of the people that have displayed interest are old-school and have like 5,000,000,000 points in their bank acount. Others are newer and have only a few hundred. If everyone pools their points up into one persons account, say whoever you elect president, than that person can use the "donate points" option and split it out equally among the members. The points can then be used to change EVERYONE'S custom title to the name of the club which would give you guys more of an identity to seperate yourselves from the rest of 7thgen.com.

Just a thought...cause i like the idea of a 7thgen club here in Ontario
