As I have read there are a lot of factors when asking this question. That is why I have asked this particular question.

I have a 2001 LX Coupe. I live in Toronto, Canada and are in desperate need of new tires. Just as a disclaimer I know absolutely nothing about buying tires; ICE on the other hand is a different story. I can't afford two different types of tires (ie. summer/winter) so I have chosen to go all-season. I am not into performance or anything, but completely despise the idea of sliding around across town like I did the last few winters on the stock rubber. The weather can go from pretty dam cold (ie. snow storms, slush, ice) to pretty dam hot (ie. Nelly) here and need an excellent all 'round tire that will hold up during these different climate conditions.

I have been looking and reviewing a few tires and posts and it seems as though everyone likes the Bridgestone Ponteza's or the Yokohoma Avid's. Other than that there are a lot of other options that make it difficult to choose from. I am a very picky person when it comes to buying things for the car and only want the best. In terms of where I live and my preference's of driving what would be the best all-season tire for me? Or, what do you think is the best all-season tires?

i had potenza on my old rims befoer and they were not bad
i never try yoko avid but i heard they are noisy on the highway
i am currently running the crappy firestone for both summer and winter
also stay away from the michelin tires (the one came stock with the 6th gen SiR rims) cuz apparently those sucks in wet road conditon

That is correct... this technology is old (all season), there is not much more cost to owning two different tires. Except for probably the steel rims. If you still persue into all season tires... how bout Michelin X-ONE?

I've heard good reviews of the Potenza 950's and 910's... A friend just bought a set for his Civic, and another friend have the 950's on his Accord coupe.

i thought your tires were still fine......yo if you want tires just let me know....AVID H4 those are crap...you are better off in buying winter and summer tires..honestly..thanks for picking me up lazy ***
