Should be a good day of 1/4 mile racing, and showing off. And it's close to the beach!! Lot's 'o' honeys!
They're expecting a big turnout, and everything (including track runs) are being offered at discounted rates.
Come on out if you can!!!

It's not that far. From where you live, i don't think it's any further than coming to London actually, because it' nortwest of London kind of. So i guess it would be no more than 2.5 hours to the track tops, 2.5 hrs back to T.O.
i'll be show and shine as well....my ride is elusive in that no one has seen it, maybe a few of you london guys that have seen me around town....i've driven by the blockbuster meets more than a few times....should be good to get it out there
no, i've seen that inca one around but it aint mine.
Mine is a black 2002 coupe with 17" 15 spoke rims and Yokahoma 215/40 rubbers. Its got a mini me commando wing and a mugen front. I've got it dropped on sportlines and a G2 exhaust. I've got 2 weeks off starting friday and i've gotta get my autometer tach in, my headlights cleared, my calipers and valve cover painted....and a bunch esle inside and in the engine bay...I live up by the car wash on pond mills in case any of you are from around there.
I would love to just find out what my slow car would do on the track but I know someone who took their toyota to King of the Hill here in Peterborough and someone took a picture of the car. Toyota dealership saw the photo and voided her warranty. I am not interested in voiding my warranty four years before it is over.

How come dealership void the warrenty?
The toyota was doing the 1/4 mile to see how fast she could go. The picture ciculated and made its way back to her dealership where she bought the car. Then when they saw the photo... Toyota proceeded to void her warranty.
Silly I know but it is a true story, I work with the person that took the photo and accidently passed it along to the wrong person. I won't mention the name because they feel if the other person ever found out that they would never speak to them again.
Originally posted by Macfay that's sad...is it really true that the dealership can void the warrenty becuz of running 1/4 mile?
Happened to them so it must have something to do with using the vehicle for an unintended pupose. That is why I find it funny that A Honda Dealership is co-sponsoring the event coming up.
really i dont do much driving around during the week....and on the weeked it's mostly highway kms so its not too suprising that you havent seen my car. I'm gunna put it in the show and shine as well, so you'll be able to see it there if not sooner...anyone know if there's a list to sign up to, to be in the show and shine or a $$$$? Or is it just first come first serve on spots?
