I used to live there and I know they are really strict especially up near the DC area which means U. This is what I have been told. You can have an white turning signal, but there must be an orange reflector on the front of your car. I know ours is white under the orange piece but if you look at the old civics, you will see a little orange reflector in the headlight. So there is one way not to be stopped and one way to fool the cops. The first way is to buy one of those little orange sticky reflectors and put it on your bumper. Second you can put an amber bulb in there. I went hyperwhite for headlight and parking and left my turning bulb stock, so it is a different color. Technically I still can get stopped but nothing yet. Good luck deciding and finding an amber bulb to fit in there!!
im using amber bulbs from apc i picked up at pepboys in there sorry little import section...i suggest not getting these bulbs though cause they fade,,,im ordering the apc led turnsignals soon, which dont fade
i used to live in roanoke, and let me tell you that the cops are b*tches....i got several tickes for things like headlight covers, teeza lights, stickers on the windshield, and tint...bi*ches i tell ya bi*ches...those lights are legal surprise surprise, and i got out of those tickets in court by the way for the teezas...they are legal but the cop was a d*ck....clear markers will be ok...and if you do get a ticket...you go to court and tell the judge you didnt know they were illegal and that you have taken them off your car and 99.9% of the time you will get off...
