why dont u check out eBay.com Just type in what kind u want like honda or toyota or an old mustang or something and then edit search to just new york and there will be a few in that price range or look up porject car.......

check a junk yard, find out if they have any cars that still run, they probably will have some that you can get cheap that will have problems, but would be great for that kind of thing. when i was at a local junkyard getting a part for my 88 dodge omni, they were using an old junked plymouth reliant wagon to carry stuff around, im sure they had more cars than just that one that still ran
