Well the new s-class and cl-class 600's come stock with twin turbo v12 pumping out 493 hp and like 570 tourque. All i know is i want a cl600, ahh drooling
I hate the spinnies me and my friend were just talking about them. But a cl600 i will have. The sl55 wouldn't be faster than the 600. I am pretty sure its the same as with te s calss and so on that they might have the same hp but the difference in torque is like 100. there is a reason the 600 is like 30 g's more and it not just for the 4 extra cylinder, but u still need the amg package, now that really makes the care look nice
when u comparete 55 to the 600 they have the sam hp rating but the 600 has 100 more in torque, and the 600 is usually like 20 g's more, the amg is usually a supercharged version with the good rims and amg kit where on the s & cl 600 its a twin turbo 12 cylinder
Yes the SL55 is the fastest production car Mercedes makes right now. However the S/CL600 make the most power as they use the detuned version of the V12 in the Maybach.
good God, I'd love to have a fast car like that. I got to drive my uncles 2003 M3 the other day, black on black, manual tranny, and all I can say is WOW!! First he drove it, he races a lot at Mid-Ohio, so I wanted to see how he'd drive it, he was takin this series of corners around here at 70 with no problem, then on the straight away he got to 125, ive tried floorin it in my civic and I can only get up to 80 there if I'm lucky. He let me drive it then and told me to just rev it up and drop the clutch once. The tires just smoked right away with no problem and left some huge, dark tire tracks on the ground. Then I drove it hard, the acceleration is so amazing, can't wait till I'm out of high school and college with a real job and I can afford something like that.
