I just bought my wife a new 2002 Civic HX!

I was checking out new cars today adn sitting all by itself was a 2002 Civic HX with CVT tranny. My wife loved it so we bought it! We paid 16,200 for it, was this a good price??

congrats, i also have a 2002 civic satin silver hx w/ cvt. but i only paid 14350 (w/ rims, ac, cd player), did you try to negotiate a cheaper price?

i paid 14.5 k for my Civic Sedan Ex 5spd hmmm maybe you coulda bargain it down to like 15.6 or around there but hey congrats [IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG] wutever pleases your wife is worth the moneys

its probabbly cause the cvt..... but u also get like 2k back for getting a hybrid....

*edit* or is the hx not a hybrid... would someone like to clarify this for me???

HX is not the Hybrid... it's just a more effecient gas engine

I got my EX for 16950 with the Si Rims and the in-dash changer ($2100 in options)

got my coupe for 17,100 after 4 hours of negotiation. This was when they first came out though. talked him down 1000.
