Hopefully I'm posting this in the right section
I'll start by saying I know nothing about cars. I've been living comfortably without one for going on 4 years, with school and work close enough to walk or take public transportation. I'm transferring schools soon though and have started looking for something.
I'm thinking about trying driving for uber, so my top priority is a high mpg. I saw the Honda Civic Hybrid and thought it looked great. On craigslist there were ten different ones near me. But all but one of them have a salvaged title. I spoke with one of them and he said it was just for cosmetic damage, but it still seems like a bit of a red flag.
So my question is: does the Civic Hybrid have any problems I should be worried about or is this just a huge coincidence?
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Civic Hybrid?
Just for laughs....
Look into the expense of having to replace an IMA battery. (if beyond the warranty period or if the car has salvage title)
Look into the cost of replacing the CVT transmission. (if equipped).
Either job could potentially cost more then the car is worth, depending on the car.
