2003 Pontiac Vibe with over 195,000 miles

I drive a 2003 Pontiac Vibe that has over 195,000 on it. I had to replace four struts, two bad and two a little bad. I changed oil every 3,000 miles. Outside of normal maintenance this is the only money I've had to put into this car. It's a shame they stopped making them. I have to decide what I will buy next.

It could probably still have fair resale value because it's a Toyota.

Hmm, I know we are pretty civil toward each other in the forums, but you're posting about your Pontiac in the Civic Forums. Just sayin.' Good to hear maintenance is pretty cheap for you so far, especially with Pontiac no longer being a thing.

Wow, that's pretty impressive, especially for a grumpy old man! If I hadn't repped you so recently, I would do it now!

I didn't change anything, it's still the same hotlinked pic.
I have noticed some hotlinks don't always show up as pics every time tho...

Re: 2003 Pontiac Vibe with over 195,000 miles

I bought a 2012 Honda Civic EX to replace the 2003 Vibe and I couldn't be happier. I enjoy driving the Civic so much I'm trying to talk my wife into us going on a road trip just to go, not going anyplace special. Going to visit a friend that lives in Texas sounds like a wonderful trip. Drive safe my friends.

Yep, you sure did! I didn't pay attention to the big OFF TOPIC letters above...

Good choice on the car though!
