LOL!
*damn* Unfortunately, I'd prolly be one of those morons who'd fall for that!
<< yall, it's $4100 one time for a 36-month lease, which is pretty reasonable. >>
no its not, this is what it says:
You are bidding on how much you would pay per month for a 36 month 15,000 mile per year lease with ZERO cash due at signing. Dealer to cover all up front fees (including security deposit, all fees and even the first payment), You just sign and drive, and your payment will be due in 30 days. If you have any questions please call. Then only extra is tax for your area.
did a quick little calculation, if you pay 4100 a month 4 36 months your paying $147,600 for a CIVIC???? What the hell is wrong with this bid, or more importantly the people bidding?
Some ppl just do not get it I guess. The BIN price was $239 per month which should have been the highest bid. This dude just entered into a contract to buy a 2k2 Civic for $174,600! As others have pointed out, they should have no problems getting off the hook though and from the looks of their feedback they are all deadbeats anyway.
Well legally you can't get off because it's a legally bound contract once they hit "Place Bid". But that is one hell of a way to screw people out of their money...
EDIT: If you look at the bid history, you would see that all of the people that are bidding are brand new to ebay. Most of them havn't even bought/sold anything yet...I would love to bitch out that guy in real life for taking advantage of people like that....
