Wassup all, I just went to a body shop to ask about tinting my car with the "mirror tint" and I asked the guy if it was legal, he said technically it is not but that people still do it and dont really get hassled by the cops, I was wondering if anyone in Florida has mirror tint and if they have been hasseled about it by the cops, or whether I should just get the darkest legal in regular
True MIRROR TINT is illegal in FL, however the so called reflective or semi-reflective is legal. Mirror tint is the tint that truely looks like a mirror, you can barely see inside of it, if at all. I would go with the reflective, that what you see on other cars. Most people often refer to reflective as mirror.
i just got reflective "glare" tint on my car, and i don't think it is ugly at all, i'm going for th all silver thing, and it looks a lot better than black on a silver car IMO, i will post pics when i can...
