Help! my delivery car might be dead!

Okay, I have a 95 civic 5spd, I was driving it the other night, doing deliveries, when all of a sudden the engine started sputtering. I revved it a bit and it stopped for a while, but then it happened again, only this time accompanied by smoke from the exhaust and under the hood. head gasket? If anyone has any ideas i could really use the help, this car is the way I make money.

Remove oil cap- is there white junk in there? If so, its headgasket- of if there is/was white smoke. Was it raining when you were driving- maybe you sucked up some water? Check your oil.
