what is the term used for vehicles that, when delivered to dealerships, have minor defects from shipping, or from factory, that get sent back, fixed, and then sold at a reduced price at the dealership?

a friend of my mom's (well ex-friend hopefully) was able to purchase one, but she got all these extra options so she kind of screwed herself anyways, and she said the term but I can't remember what it was....

ANYONE?

nooooo. I'm talking about when the dealership gets a car off the truck, and say it has a nick in the hood or something very minute. they send it back to the factory, it's repaired, replaced, and the car is then sold for like 2-5k less.

StinkyPie may know...hopefully he sees this..after all he does work at a dealership....
