Wow, this is a nice car! Turbo lag sucks starting off, but by 3500 RPM, it hauls ass. Braking and handling are pretty good too. Redlined that b!tch through 1st - 5th gear. Fun car, lots of tuning potential, big price tag. $39,000 CND I will have to custom turbo my civic instead, much cheaper.

Wait for the STi. If I had the money, I'd do it. Either that or the EVO VII:nut:
I test drove one back in August. I wasn't greatly impressed (coming from driving v8's). Plus the fact that the car felt and sounded (the drive train atleast ) like a dog getting raped when I droped the clutch just made me wonder how long the AWD would have lasted.
Forget the Sti, from what I understand they have a package for $1000 that'll give you that 50 extra hp and I'm pretty sure there's higher packages too. So if I get a WRX, that's what I plan to do.
Cars commin out over the next couple of years are only gettin faster.... if you jus got a civic... dont really know what I'm talking about... but to finish buyin out your lease and tradin in so soon.. you'll be losin alot of money.. but if ya got it hey.. otherwise... I'm keepin this car for at least 5 yrs.. havin some fun with it then hopefully after 5 yrs I'll have a good job movin up to acura's, maybe used 2003 nissan z.... I wish I had enough money now for an rsx.. love the look and I'm pretty sure I'll get sick of the wrx look fast as I get older.. though it is also a wicked car which I'd love to have now
I wish that I had looked at the wrx when I bought my 00 accord ex-vl. Never liked the accord that much. Anyhow, everytime I see someone driving one, they look over and put off a persona that their sheite don't stink if you know what I mean.
I talked to a salesman and he said by next summer we should start to see the Sti here. I still think paying $36k+taxes for the WRX is not worth it, a potent performer or not. It's a lot of money for what you get!
My friend and I are both going to buy one. He's got more for the down payment and will be ordering it this week. I'll be a few weeks behind him.
The car is really quite friendly between 0 and 3200 rpm but it becomes a "force to be reckoned with" after that. Slap on a boost controller, Tanabe Racing Medallion, Blitz intake and some TEIN Type-HA Coil-overs for starters and BAMMM! ya got yerself a fast car that sounds good, looks good and can get ya around in the winter with no prob's.
The WRX was cool when I test drove it but the turbo lag just killed the whole experience. The RSX S-type seems like a much better deal unless you really need 4 doors IMO.
