I'm interested in the exhaust manifold. Only the exhaust manifold though. I would need to know if it could mate up to a Garrett T25 or T28 turbo with the turbo exhaust and intake openings facing the sides of the car. I would also need to know how it looks like. Pictures are worth a thousand words. The specifications would help me out as well. The injector flow rate is something I'm curious about. Why a T3/T4 turbo? That's huge, isn't it? What's the maximum boost pressure that you'll be able to run with one of those? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

A company called South Florida Performance makes many custom turbos and theirs should be ready anytime between now and the end of the month. they are also using the T3/T4 turbo. If you go strictly street legal in these cars you'll be all show and no "go"

What are you going to do about the return-less fuel system??

How will you add fuel as the boost rises??

How many PSI will it be running??

?sramble boost?

The T3/4 hybrid is rated up to 200-400 horsepower (depending on compressor wheel). I don't think we need that much! If you're still thinking of using a T3/4 hybrid then check out this page: Installing the hybrid T3/T4 turbo.

Here's an image of the T25: Garrett T25

A T25 is limited to around 250 horsepower, maybe a T25/28 hybrid would be better? The T28 can produce upwards of 350-375 horsepower, so again I think that's too much. I don't know all the details yet, but I think a T3/4 hybrid turbo is too big for our engines.

I'm gonna get flamed for this but oh well......... i don't know anything about turbos or superchargers

I 've been seeing a lot about this "returnless fuel system"..... what does that mean????

Also.... Where does the turbo fit on our cars... or any car for that matter

(Let the flaming begin)

DOH

The returnless fuel system thing is where our cars do not have a fuel line going back into the gas tank from a pressure regulator up front. The fuel pump pumps out more than the engine needs and the fuel pressure regulator up front keeps that in check and returns excess amounts of fuel back to the gas tank. When upgrading to a turbo you can simply replace the fuel pump with one that flows more fuel and get a new fuel pressure regulator and crank up the max limit. Our cars do not have a return line, so the fuel pressure regulator is in the tank along with the fuel pump. That's what it's about, but I don't know what the exact problem is?

Take a look at this thread: Who was getting the turbo?

Im with Grey, the t3/4 hybrid is too big for a stock engine. Your are goning to have to build your bottom end to hold all that. Wait a minute, no one build stronger bottom ends for our cars!!! I think the T25 or 28 would be the best bet to go. I personally would only put a T3/4 on a DOHC powerplant, not these little single cams flower pots. And like what has beeen mentioned twice, how are you gonna get around the returnless fuel sys?????

isn't the fuel pump for 7g civics and 4g tegs in the fuel tank so we can't change them either?

I also agree with Grey and Turtle, T3/T4 are too big, you'll have a lot of lag with it, a smaller one should work better, faster spool up and more power through the entire rpm range...better for some twisties, not just drag

Yeah, it is in the fuel tank, but I think we can change it. Lift up your rear seat and you'll see an access port. I think you can get to it from there.

well as for teh price we need to see how many people want one and we need to see how much this kit turns out to be- alsoas far as the fuel system is concerned- its seems like an easy fix- just a matter of getting a pump and getting some kind of electronic fuel management system- no biggie
