The 280 hp rule is not a real rule, its a gentlemens agreement not to make production cars over 280. but if you buy speical versions of the STi imprezas in japan, they go over 280 into the 300hp range. but thats becuase those are consider special editions and not regular production cars.
that was a good video, too bad its only up to 1999, no newer itrs and ctrs. The s2000 you saw in there is the S2000 you see now, that was a preproduction model being tested in 1998. Currenty honda hasnt released any info on any new s2000 models or roadster replacements.

yup! Nissan Skyline R34 Z-tune is considered production! but... special edition production. Also there was the Sti 22B, S204, and a bunch of others.
