I found this 2002 Vivid Blue Pearl with 56,800 miles on it. All stock, a few minro scrathches here and there. They are asking $18,000 OBO. I think this is too much cuz I looked on KBB, Edmunds, and NADA and it was all around $14,000. What do yall think is a good price to offer?

Rep Power: 289 like around 14 or 15. it is a type-s. if it has stuff done to it, i say deduct 500 or 1000 cuz u kno its raced or something u might not kno has been done to it and returned to stock.

Rep Power: 0 18k is WAY too much. also, it's a 2002 and if u do ur research, 2002 is a bad year to buy hondas cuz of all the problems w/ the car, namely the tranny. one of my friends bought a 02 type s and his tranny went out on him outta nowhere

Rep Power: 0 I think an offer of like 14 would be better than 12, 12 will probably insult him but he also probably knows he isn't gonna get 18 if it has been sittin with the for sale sign for a while so start at 14 and go from there.

Rep Power: 260 yah i know 12 is low, but my dad just bought a car for 8k when the guy wanted 16k, so you never know.
i am sure the guy owes a lot on it being hes asking that much, but where he/she lives is a very very nice apartment complex. its expensive so i am sure they have a little bit of money so they can take a little loss

Rep Power: 239 i agree ... 18k for an 02 type s is too much ..might as well get a new one 2005 and spend a couple thousands more ..instead of having a headache on problems with this 02 ...

Rep Power: 363 Try around 13 is about right. Thats what I got my 02 rsx-s for with only 40k miles and the tranny issues have been solved you can solve it yourself also by putting in the syncromesh fluid too. andyway I love my type S

Rep Power: 260 well if you got yours with 40k miles i will offer about 12-12.5 since it has 57k miles. the mechanical problems are nothing, my dad has been a mechanic for 30 something years and could fix whatever is wrong, or breaks but if the syncromesh fluid fixes that then good lol. i wonder if they are trying to sell it cuz the tranny is going bad?? also i think it maybe a girls car but i may call tonight if i get a chance and talk to them
