That picture looks wierd, with the wheels slanted. I have a pretty good feeling that the quality of this car is gonna be crappier then the worst american car, after all its Made in China.

I hope thats just a "rendering". Looks like a good gust of wind would knock it over. Actually it looks about as well made as those Chinese made hot wheel knock offs (you remember, the ones the wheels never spun right on). Think this will be like Daewoo and disappear from the US in about... 5 minutes??
if car manufacturing works the same way other consumer goods manufacturing worked in China, we will all be driving chinese cars in 10 years. just look at everything we use now, it is all basically made in china, we called chinese made goods junk 15 years ago, but now they are making some pretty decent things. Korean cars are consider poor import cars before, while they are not up to par to the japanese, they are chipping away at the US domestics' sales numbers.
the domestics better watch out. who would want to buy an expensive and crappy car when they could buy a cheap and crappy car.

very good point.
i think a lot of you are too gung-ho about japanese/american/german, etc cars. yes, china does make knock offs, but they are able to do it at an extremely low price. the automotive parts and labor produced in china will be only a fraction of the price when compared to cars built in the US. this obviously means that the Chinese will be able to offer the cars way below what American, etc can. many of you may doubt the car being able to sell now, but i wouldnt be suprised if they did very well in the US.
